Healthcare Improvement consultancy limited is a company set up by our founder and managing director, James Mullins. The company commenced trading in July 2020.
James is a registered adult & mental health nurse who has a wealth of experience and knowledge. He began his career at the age of 16 as a healthcare support worker before embarking on his registered nursing training. Throughout his career, James has worked in a variety of settings across the NHS and independent sector including neurosurgery, elderly care, substance misuse, prison health, forensic care and female personality disorders.
James has also held several senior level roles including Head of Inspections with the Care Quality Commission and in the NHS as Director of Mental Health Improvement and Director of Quality Assurance. James is passionate about ensuring that the holistic and quality care of those who use services is foremost in the development of service provision and strategic methodology. Throughout his career, James has continuously demonstrated the ability to improve outcomes for patients in his care and since being in leadership roles, has driven change to enable continuous quality outcomes.
